In response to social media posts reporting the delay of Nepal Airlines flight RA409 on May 16, 2026, AFSC Refuelling Limited (AFSC) clarifies its involvement as follows.
AFSC confirmed the refuelling request at 20:17 on May 16, 2026. Upon confirming the request, AFSC mobilised immediately and completed refuelling services at 21:03 , i.e. within less than one hour. AFSC did not receive advance notice of the fuel uplift prior to this request and has no contract in place with Nepal Airlines.
AFSC remains committed to delivering safe and efficient aircraft refuelling services, and will continue to respond promptly upon confirming requests, thereby maintaining the smooth operation of Hong Kong International Airport.
